We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps professional to join our team in a remote capacity.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our AWS-based infrastructure. Your expertise in Amazon Web Services, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Ruby will be instrumental in optimizing our cloud infrastructure and ensuring the seamless deployment and management of our applications.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement AWS-based solutions for various projects
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for improved efficiency and reliability
- Ensure the security and compliance of the cloud infrastructure and applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues in a timely manner
- Implement and manage containerization technologies using Docker and Kubernetes
- Utilize Helm for streamlined deployment and management of Kubernetes applications
- Create and maintain infrastructure as code (IAC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies for critical systems
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven work experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
- Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its core services
- Strong proficiency in Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
- Solid understanding of Helm and its application in Kubernetes management
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Python, Bash, or Ruby
- In-depth knowledge of EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) for managing containerized applications on AWS
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Strong understanding of networking principles and security best practices in the cloud
- B2+ English level to effectively communicate and collaborate with international teams
