We are seeking a proactive and curious Senior Python Developer to join our team.
In this role, you will focus on enhancing backend services, improving product stability, and increasing client satisfaction. Contribute your innovative ideas and help drive our team’s success.
Responsibilities
- Develop Python backend services with an emphasis on HTTP APIs using Python, SQL, and FastAPI
- Collaborate with team members to define and implement high-quality solutions
- Participate in team planning sessions and SCRUM ceremonies
- Propose enhancements to improve product stability and user experience
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following established best practices
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices
- Assist in debugging and resolving technical challenges as needed
Requirements
- Background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Production-level experience in Python development with at least 3 years
- Advanced knowledge of Python’s features, including slicing and decorators
- Competency in writing maintainable and reusable code aligned with best practices
- Proficiency in developing and working with HTTP APIs, particularly REST
- Strong understanding of type systems, specifically MyPy
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Experience with FastAPI and Docker environments
- Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Background in working with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services
