We are seeking an experienced and determined Senior Delivery Manager to lead in designing and delivering Wealth Management solutions using innovative technologies.
This role involves guiding teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the effective implementation of technical solutions while driving continuous improvement and encouraging innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design Wealth Management solutions using Java, REACT JS, and MS Azure
- Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to explore new architectures and technical opportunities
- Support Agile Scrum teams in planning and executing technical solutions for new product features
- Mentor teams and provide architectural advice when creating innovative applications
- Align technical solutions with business goals by partnering with business stakeholders
- Collaborate with Technical Architects to ensure compliance with Enterprise Architecture strategy
- Demonstrate technical leadership to influence important changes across departments
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to define realistic project timelines
- Identify potential risks in project delivery and propose mitigation strategies
- Stay informed about industry trends to enhance technical approaches and skills
- Train and guide team members to improve their expertise and overall capabilities
- Work with DevOps Engineers to design CI/CD pipelines and deploy solutions on MS Azure
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a directly related role
- Expertise in Java, Spring, REACTJS, and Cloud Native Azure solutions
- Competency in creating SOAP and REST web services via API-driven frameworks
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within teams
- Understanding of Wealth Management processes and technologies as an asset
- Proficiency in communication to clearly explain complex technical topics
- Proven ability to deliver impactful and innovative solutions within technological settings
Nice to have
- Background in delivering solutions specific to Wealth Management
- Familiarity with other cloud service platforms apart from Azure
- Understanding of sophisticated DevOps frameworks and CI/CD methodologies
