We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Datapath Software Developer with extensive expertise in C and C++, capable of leading the development of subsystems for our distributed storage systems. Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate proficiency in C and C++ programming by delivering efficient and maintainable code
  • Lead architectural decisions to ensure scalability and performance align with industry standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones
  • Address performance bottlenecks and optimize for multi-core and scale-out environments
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior developers with constructive feedback
  • Evaluate complex technical challenges and implement innovative, effective solutions
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in software development with a focus on distributed storage systems
  • Expertise in C and C++ with an understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Background in leading the development of subsystems within complex storage solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a capacity to troubleshoot effectively
  • Knowledge of distributed file systems and network protocols
  • Competency in team-based communication and collaboration
  • Aptitude for learning complex technical areas with a proactive mindset
  • Proficiency in English communication (B2+ level)
Nice to have
  • Expertise in developing Linux or BSD kernel-level code
  • Understanding of Python programming language
