Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code using proficiency in C and C++ programming
  • Guide architectural decisions to ensure scalability and industry-leading performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with project goals and timelines
  • Diagnose performance bottlenecks in code and optimize for multi-core and scale-out scenarios
  • Conduct thorough code reviews while mentoring junior team members constructively
  • Devise innovative solutions to address complex technical challenges effectively
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in software development focusing on distributed storage systems
  • Expertise in C and C++ programming languages coupled with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Background in leading the code development of complex subsystems within storage solutions
  • Strong analytical skills paired with the capability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues
  • Knowledge of distributed file systems and network protocols
  • Competency in clear and collaborative communication within team environments
  • Motivation to learn intricate technical topics with a self-starting mindset
  • Proficiency in English communication at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Background in Linux or BSD kernel-level development
  • Skills in Python programming
