We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Datapath Software Developer with extensive proficiency in C and C++ to spearhead the development of subsystems in our distributed storage systems. Responsibilities
  • Showcase high proficiency in C and C++ programming while producing exceptional and maintainable code
  • Lead architectural decisions to ensure scalability and performance align with industry benchmarks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet targeted project milestones
  • Pinpoint performance bottlenecks in implementation and enhance for multi-core and scale-out scenarios
  • Conduct meticulous code reviews while mentoring junior developers with constructive input
  • Solve complex technical challenges by generating visionary yet practical solutions
Requirements
  • Background in software development with 3-4 years of experience focusing on distributed storage systems
  • Expertise in C and C++ programming alongside an understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Proven record of overseeing subsystem development across intricate storage architectures
  • Strong analytical approach paired with capability to diagnose and resolve software issues
  • Knowledge of distributed file systems and networking protocols
  • Competency in working effectively within team-centric environments
  • Familiarity with technical subjects and eagerness for proactive learning
  • Proficiency in English communication with a level equivalent to B2 or higher
Nice to have
  • Understanding of Linux or BSD kernel-level programming
  • Background in Python coding
