Responsibilities
  • Deliver efficient and maintainable code showcasing high proficiency in C and C++ programming
  • Lead architectural decisions to ensure scalability and performance align with industry standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accomplish shared project goals
  • Optimize performance bottlenecks for multi-core and scale-out use cases
  • Conduct detailed code reviews to mentor junior developers effectively
  • Address complex technical challenges by implementing innovative solutions
Requirements
  • Background in software development, including 3-4 years focused on distributed storage systems
  • Expertise in C and C++ with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Showcase of leadership in developing entire subsystems within complex storage environments
  • Strong analytical abilities paired with a capability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Familiarity with distributed file systems and network protocols
  • Effective communication within team-oriented dynamics
  • Motivation to learn intricate technical concepts with a proactive mindset
  • English proficiency at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with developing Linux or BSD kernel-level code
  • Skills in Python programming language
