Responsibilities
- Deliver efficient and maintainable code, showcasing high proficiency in C and C++ programming
- Contribute to architectural decisions, ensuring scalability and aligning with industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals
- Identify bottlenecks in application performance and optimize for multi-core and scale-out environments
- Perform in-depth code reviews and provide feedback to elevate junior developers' contributions
- Analyze complex technical challenges and devise innovative solutions
- Lead efforts to meet production-level system integration and performance optimization
Requirements
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in software development focused on distributed storage systems
- Competency in C and C++ with a thorough understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Background in leading complex storage subsystems and code development
- Sound analytical abilities and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges
- Knowledge of distributed file systems and network protocols
- Strong communication skills to work within collaborative team environments
- Capability to learn intricate technical concepts with a proactive attitude
- Proficiency in English, with communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Background in developing kernel-level code for Linux or BSD
- Understanding of Python for scripting and development
