We are looking for a Senior Data Software Engineer to build high-performance big-data applications and cloud-native data pipelines while enabling AI-assisted engineering practices. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data and application solutions—apply now to make an impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance big-data applications using Scala, Databricks, Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, and Python
- Build and optimize cloud-native data pipelines on Azure, including Azure Data Factory ingestion, transformation, and orchestration
- Implement robust APIs and microservices that integrate MarTech systems with client-facing platforms
- Design event-driven and distributed architectures that improve reliability, maintainability, and scalability
- Build and maintain full-stack applications using modern frontend frameworks and backend services
- Drive AI-assisted engineering practices including Vibe Coding and generative-AI development accelerators
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and data teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Optimize performance, cost, and operational stability across data processing and application services
- Establish engineering standards and review practices to improve code quality and delivery velocity
- Support CI/CD pipelines and release processes for full-stack and data workloads
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data software engineering using Python and Scala
- 3+ years of experience with Databricks for large-scale data processing
- 3+ years of experience with AI-augmented development practices including Anthropic Claude Code and Vibe Coding
- Proven team leadership skills in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Strong project delivery skills across data and application layers
- Advanced system design skills with event-driven architectures and distributed design patterns
- Cloud engineering skills with Azure services including Azure Data Factory
- Full-stack engineering skills with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
- Backend development skills using Node.js, Python, or Java
- API design skills with RESTful and GraphQL services
- CI/CD pipeline skills supporting full-stack deployments
- Strong communication skills to align stakeholders and explain technical trade-offs
- Upper-Intermediate English level (B2)
Nice to have
- Apache Spark expertise beyond managed Databricks usage
- Azure Data Factory advanced patterns for orchestration and monitoring
- Java experience for backend services
