We are seeking a Senior Data Software Engineer to join the MDG Tech team, responsible for designing, operating and supporting the end-to-end MDM integration flow between Syndigo and legacy systems, including inbound/outbound processing, mapping, error handling and operational monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Take shared ownership in the development of the technical integration across Syndigo, legacy and downstream interfaces
- Ensure data quality and mapping consistency between inbound source files and outbound update messages
- Support production stability through monitoring, alerting and dead-letter queue handling
- Build a maintainable and scalable solution that supports both initial load and ongoing update flows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align integration solutions with business requirements
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and system reliability
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering at a senior level
- Expertise in AWS (DynamoDB, Lambdas, SQS, ECS, Fargate), Confluent Kafka and Terraform
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Skills in CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket and Jenkins
- Background in cloud integration and MDM/Syndigo
- Solid understanding of data flows, interfaces, mappings and production support considerations
- AWS certification
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher

- Experience with data governance and master data management
- Background in the fashion retail industry
