We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team. This role focuses on the design, optimization, and evaluation of prompts for solutions based on generative artificial intelligence, language models, and conversational agents. The main objective is to improve the quality, accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of AI-generated responses, aligning them with business needs, specific use cases, and best practices in security, ethics, and governance.
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize prompts for language models such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or other LLMs
- Translate business requirements into effective instructions for generative AI models
- Create reusable prompt templates for operational, analytical, and automation use cases
- Evaluate the quality of AI-generated responses by identifying errors, bias, inconsistencies, or hallucinations
- Apply prompt engineering techniques such as few-shot prompting, structured chain-of-thought, role prompting, context management, and prompt chaining
- Collaborate with Data, AI, Product, Operations, and Technology teams to integrate prompts into enterprise solutions
- Support the design of workflows involving RAG, AI agents, virtual assistants, and process automation
- Document guidelines, best practices, and standards for prompt usage within the organization
- Optimize prompts by balancing accuracy, cost, latency, security, and user experience
- Promote the responsible, ethical, and safe use of generative artificial intelligence
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Solid knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and their practical applications
- Hands-on experience with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, or open-source models
- Advanced prompt engineering techniques for designing effective and reliable prompts
- Experience with context window management, structured outputs, embeddings, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Basic to intermediate Python knowledge for scripting, automation, and integration tasks
- Familiarity with AI model APIs for embedding generative AI capabilities into applications
- Working knowledge of JSON, Markdown, and data structures for handling structured inputs and outputs
- Ability to evaluate AI-generated responses based on quality, accuracy, and consistency criteria
- Desirable experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks for building LLM-based applications
- Desirable knowledge of NLP, machine learning, or process automation to enhance AI solutions
- Analytical and structured thinking to design robust prompt strategies
- Excellent writing and communication skills for crafting clear instructions and documentation
- Ability to understand business processes and translate them into clear and actionable instructions
- Strong attention to detail when refining prompts and reviewing AI outputs
- Technical curiosity and an experimentation mindset to explore new AI capabilities
- Strong collaboration skills for working with technical and functional teams
- Sound judgment to identify AI risks, biases, and limitations
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, at a B2+ level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience in roles related to generative AI, data analysis, automation, NLP, digital product, or technology consulting
- Hands-on experience designing prompts for enterprise use cases in real-world business scenarios
- Knowledge of agile methodologies for collaborative and iterative delivery
- Experience documenting standards, usage guidelines, or prompt libraries to support organizational adoption
