Senior Data Integration Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Data Integration Engineer to join our team supporting data warehouses both in cloud and on-premises and to develop new capabilities.

This role focuses on migrating existing on-premises data warehouse functionalities to a Snowflake-based solution and enhancing cloud integration using Azure services. You will work on building scalable ETL solutions primarily on AWS Cloud and Snowflake, while collaborating in design discussions and contributing your expertise. Responsibilities

Design and develop ETL solutions for high-volume data processing in cloud and on-prem environments
Support and enhance existing data warehouse functionalities during migration to Snowflake
Collaborate in solution design meetings, providing technical input and sharing ideas
Implement data integration workflows using Azure Data Lake Storage and related Azure services
Maintain and optimize SQL queries for managing complex data structures
Develop and maintain Python scripts for data processing and automation
Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the integration processes
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and storage
Document solutions and processes to support maintenance and knowledge sharing

Requirements

Proven experience of 3+ years in data integration and engineering
Strong knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage and cloud data services
Expertise in Snowflake data warehouse platform and data migration
Advanced skills in ANSI SQL including T-SQL and PL/SQL
Proficiency in Python programming for data manipulation and automation
Experience building high-load ETL solutions on AWS Cloud
Familiarity with SSIS for data integration workflows
Ability to analyze and design data warehouses and complex data structures
Effective participation in technical design and review sessions
Strong written and verbal English communication skills (B2+)

Nice to have

Experience with SSAS for analytical processing
Skills in Power BI for data visualization
Knowledge of AWS storage services such as S3
Familiarity with AWS Lambda for serverless computing
Background in retail business intelligence
