Senior Data Integration Engineer

Hybrid in Colombia, Mexico

We are seeking a driven and highly skilled Senior Data Integration Engineer to join our team, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing data integration solutions. This position involves managing ETL development efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the smooth operation of our enterprise data warehouse.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance complex ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter
  • Work independently to design, configure, and unit test solutions based on source-to-target specifications
  • Collaborate closely with data architects, application teams, and reporting stakeholders on ETL development and integration efforts
  • Design, document, and implement ETL solutions, estimate work efforts, and provide task status updates
  • Coordinate offshore and onshore ETL development efforts, allocate tasks, and ensure quality deliverables
  • Provide technical support for Informatica administration and troubleshoot production issues as a level-three support resource
  • Prepare and maintain technical runbooks documenting code, processes, and support requirements
  • Identify and implement improvements to enterprise data warehouse environments in collaboration with the offshore team
  • Establish and maintain best practices and methodologies for ETL development
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior ETL developers as needed
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing Informatica Mappings, Workflows, and processes
  • Background in working with complex SQL and strong ETL development expertise
  • Knowledge of integration technologies and processes
  • Understanding of Kimball, Inmon, or Millbrook data warehouse design methodologies
  • Familiarity with EDW reconciliation solutions and testing tools and techniques
  • Proficiency in working within Windows environments
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Proven communication and facilitation skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • English skills at a B2 level or higher
