We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Databricks, Power BI) in Vietnam. You will turn business questions into trusted dashboards and scalable lakehouse pipelines. You will design data models, build Databricks workflows in Python and PySpark, strengthen governance and keep reporting fast, reliable and secure in production.

Responsibilities
  • Translate business needs into analytics-ready data models and BI designs
  • Build and optimize Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models and datasets
  • Develop production-grade pipelines in Databricks using Python, PySpark and SQL
  • Implement lakehouse patterns including Medallion Architecture across layers
  • Manage releases using Git, Power BI Deployment Pipelines and CI/CD practices
  • Apply access controls including Row-Level Security (RLS), role-based access control (RBAC) and Unity Catalog
  • Troubleshoot data and reporting issues, tune performance and improve data quality
Requirements
  • Power BI experience across Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
  • DAX expertise including performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Power Query (M) capability for shaping and transforming data
  • SQL proficiency for complex querying, transformation and analytical modeling
  • Python hands-on experience for building maintainable data solutions
  • PySpark capability to develop scalable transformations in Databricks
  • Databricks experience delivering lakehouse pipelines and production workloads
  • Version control and deployment experience using Git and structured release practices
Nice to have
  • Databricks Asset Bundles and YAML-based workflow configuration
  • GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tooling for validation and deployment
  • Familiarity with Azure Data Lake Storage and secrets management approaches
