Join EPAM as a Senior Data Engineer to build a scalable data foundation supporting app analytics, event-based tracking and data-driven decision-making. You will design, develop and operate data pipelines from Google Analytics into BigQuery and GCP platforms using SQL, Python and ETL processes to ensure data is accurate and ready for reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Design and operate scalable data pipelines that route app tracking data from Google Analytics into BigQuery and GCP platforms using SQL, Python and ETL workflows
  • Build and maintain data models and event-based architectures in BigQuery to validate user behavior data and support app analytics
  • Collaborate with business and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Consult stakeholders on KPI definitions, measurement logic and analytics data structures
  • Monitor data pipeline reliability and performance while you enforce data governance and quality frameworks
Requirements
  • Background in data pipelines and analytics platforms within Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Proficiency in advanced SQL and Python for ETL workflows, data processing and query optimization
  • Expertise in BigQuery data modeling and integration of Google Analytics (GA4) app tracking data
  • Understanding of event-based data architectures, data ingestion patterns and analytics modeling concepts
  • Familiarity with data governance, quality frameworks and production data reliability practices
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, tracking logic and KPI definitions
Nice to have
  • Experience with Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of mobile app ecosystems, including iOS, Android, mobile app tracking, or app analytics concepts
  • Knowledge of API integration, data ingestion from external systems, or application analytics integrations
