We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data and Analytics team.

In this role, you will be the key person for providing robust support for our platform. You will tackle technical and operational data challenges, while also enhancing our infrastructure through various long-term projects.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, operate and maintain software and data engineering solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, developers and project managers
Ensure that implemented solutions meet project requirements, performance and scalability goals
Learn and implement client internal technologies and tools to support project requirements and goals
Elaborate technical documentation including analysis, design and implementation
Participate in code reviews, design reviews and other team activities
Engage in system improvement, platform migration, upgrades and stabilization projects including requirements documentation and issue resolution

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Data Engineering
Understanding of data architecture concepts for use cases
Experience with ETL/ELT processes
Solid background in software development lifecycle
Strong proficiency in SQL with ability to build and optimize large-scale data pipelines on Big Data infrastructure
Extensive skills in data analysis and validation
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java
Experience with Linux terminal operations
English level of B1 or above

Nice to have

Experience in data modeling
Knowledge of DevOps practices and concepts
