Responsibilities
- Optimize and manage workflows in Airflow/MWAA, Spark, and Flink for scalable and efficient data processing
- Deploy and maintain advanced cloud-native infrastructure using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to gather requirements and implement infrastructure updates
- Upgrade, troubleshoot, and enhance data infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security
- Improve and standardize CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment and greater automation
- Support and guide mid-level engineers in tackling complex technical challenges
- Contribute to research and adoption of new technologies to further improve infrastructure and workflows
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Data DevOps Engineer with a focus on data infrastructure
- Proficiency in designing and optimizing workflows using Airflow/MWAA, Spark, and Flink
- Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and related cloud-native services
- Strong experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration in production environments
- In-depth knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code in automated systems
- Proven experience in monitoring systems using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or similar solutions
- Solid ability to design, implement, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Spinnaker, Jenkins, or related tools
- Team-oriented mindset with experience supporting and mentoring mid-level team members
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2 level with strong technical articulation skills
