We are seeking an experienced remote Senior Data DevOps Engineer to join our team.

In this position, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying data pipelines using AWS technologies and other related tools. You will develop and maintain tools and scripts for automating data transformation and analysis processes. Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to the development team and monitor and manage the performance, availability, and security of data platforms and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy data pipelines using AWS technologies and related tools
Develop and maintain tools and scripts for automating data transformation and analysis processes
Provide guidance and support to the development team in terms of infrastructure setup, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Monitor and manage the performance, availability, and security of data platforms and infrastructure
Create and maintain infrastructure templates using Terraform for automated deployment and configuration of data environments

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in DevOps activities
Strong knowledge in Data Engineering and Analysis
Strong expertise in Amazon Web Services and Linux operating systems
Hands-on experience with Terraform or other infrastructure as code tools
Proficiency in data processing and analysis tools such as Spark, Hadoop, or equivalent technologies
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English at B2 level or above

Nice to have

Knowledge of Python, Bash
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
