Senior Data Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a remoted highly skilled Senior Data Cloud Engineer with extensive experience working with Data DevOps to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building web environments on AWS, CD/CD pipeline integration and automation using various tools and technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Design and build web environments on AWS, ensuring best practices are followed
  • Develop and maintain CD/CD pipelines in Ansible, Maven
  • Employ container technologies to manage projects using Docker, Kubernetes, ECS (or comparable)
  • Utilize Big Data tools
  • Work closely with the team to develop and maintain applications and databases, utilizing programming
  • Lead system administration tasks on Linux/Unix and Windows servers, identifying and resolving any issues
  • Deploy and maintain monitoring solutions like CloudWatch, Splunk and ELK Stack
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Data Cloud Engineer
  • Strong Data DevOps experience, including AWS services like Athena, Kinesis and Lambda
  • Skilled in container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and ECS
  • Familiarity with Big Data tools like Hive, Presto, Spark and JupiterHUB
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python and Scala.
  • An understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows server system administration
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency B2+
