We are looking for a Senior Data Analytics and Visualization Engineer to support data-driven decision-making by designing, modeling, and visualizing data across multiple platforms, with a focus on AI-enabled workflows and Databricks. The role involves working with SAP BI tools, integrating data from various sources, and contributing to modern data workflows.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with SAP Datasphere specialists to develop data models in SAP Datasphere, including both graphical and SQL-based views
- Build interactive dashboards and reports in SAP Analytics Cloud
- Collect and integrate data from multiple external sources via APIs, and handle various authentication methods such as Bearer tokens and OIDC certificates
- Translate stakeholder reporting requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance optimization across reporting solutions
- Leverage modern data platforms such as Databricks for advanced data engineering and analytics use cases
- Develop scripts and automation using Python for data processing and integration in a Databricks environment
- Maintain version control and collaborate on code and assets via GitHub
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data modeling and reporting
- Experience working with APIs and authentication mechanisms such as Bearer token and OIDC
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows using GitHub
- Proficiency in SQL
- Exposure to Databricks or similar data platforms
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
- Strong communication skills for working with business and technical stakeholders
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with Python for data processing or automation
- Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud
- Experience in SAP HANA
