We are seeking a remote Senior Data Analyst to join our team for a Business Consulting and Digital Transformation Consulting project with one of our esteemed clients. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, and testing of reports, dashboards, and interactive data visualizations using Microsoft Power BI and other relevant tools.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements and translate them into visualizations and reports using Power BI
- Develop and maintain data models, data visualizations, and reports as per business requirements
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI solutions, including data modeling, ETL, and report development
- Provide technical guidance and support to business stakeholders and other team members on data visualization best practices
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure data integrity, data quality, and report accuracy
- Ensure the quality of deliverables, including data accuracy, report quality, and adherence to reporting standards and guidelines
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis and visualization, including experience with Microsoft Power BI
- Expertise in data visualization best practices, including dashboard design, data storytelling, and user experience design
- Strong understanding of data modeling principles, data warehousing, and ETL processes
- Experience in collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and understand their data and reporting requirements
- Expertise in creating complex data visualizations, using custom visuals, and developing custom reports and dashboards in Power BI
- Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2 level
Nice to have
- Experience with other data visualization tools such as Tableau or QlikView
- Experience with data mining, machine learning, and predictive analytics
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure or AWS
