We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst with expertise in Business Analysis and Data Analytics Consulting to join our team remotely, working in the Agriculture and Oil & Gas industries. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for providing critical insights and recommendations to our clients by analyzing complex data sets. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, prioritize tasks, and develop innovative solutions that meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, developing innovative solutions that meet business needs
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries and glossaries, ensuring accurate and consistent terminology
- Create and maintain taxonomy structures that support data governance and data management initiatives
- Conduct data quality assessments, identifying and addressing data quality issues to improve data accuracy and completeness
- Provide guidance and support to developers to ensure the successful implementation of data solutions
- Prepare and present reports and dashboards that communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Take ownership of the end-result, ensuring that deliverables meet high standards of quality and accuracy
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, with a focus on BI Analysis, demonstrating your proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
- In-depth knowledge of core data principles and data standards, including data governance and data quality dimensions
- Experience with data modelling, data profiling, and data discovery tools, using industry best practices
- Hands-on experience with Collibra data governance platform, with at least a Data Stewardship certificate
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with business and IT stakeholders, as well as end-users
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to solicit cooperation from multiple stakeholders with conflicting views and opinions
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher, with exceptional editing skills and perfect grammar
- Overall vision of how data operating models can help manage data and bring analytics advantages

- Hands-on experience designing data operating models
- Additional Collibra certifications, including Solution Architect, Workflow Engineer, Data Governance Lead, Platform Administrator, and Business Analyst
