We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our team, working on a backlog of reporting requirements. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will work closely with our data team to gather an understanding of what the business wants to report on, map this onto Boden data sources, produce reporting/dashboards, and validate the data vs existing reporting or data. You will be responsible for delivering this back to stakeholders and iterating through further requests/enhancements. Responsibilities
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications for reporting and dashboard development
- Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards for business stakeholders
- Create data workflows using Alteryx or similar data preparation tools
- Validate data vs. existing reporting or data and ensure accuracy of reports and dashboards
- Collaborate with the Data Architect or another Data Analyst to map business requirements onto Boden data sources
- Iterate through further requests/enhancements and deliver updates to stakeholders
- Provide ongoing support for reporting and dashboard development
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in BI analysis and data analysis
- Strong knowledge of Power BI and Alteryx or similar data preparation tools
- Experience working with large datasets and databases using SQL
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data models
- Experience in data visualization and dashboard development
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English at an upper-intermediate level
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Nice to have
- Experience with other data visualization tools such as Tableau or QlikView
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and modeling
