We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer passionate about data analysis to join our team.
The perfect candidate will demonstrate mastery of working with large datasets, expertise in ETL processes, familiarity with diverse data formats, and proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI. They should excel at collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analyze data, writing scripts for examination
- Perform analysis of data sources aligned with the data product methodology
- Build data structures and design data transformations
- Execute queries on data to enable detailed analysis
- Formulate datasets that represent preliminary statistical indicators
- Develop models utilizing mathematical, statistical, and analytical methods to derive requested indicators
- Design processes for automating data product workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, economics, or computer science
- Proficiency in ETL and familiarity with multiple data formats
- Competency in programming languages, including Python
- Knowledge of Pandas libraries
- Understanding of OLAP cubes
- Familiarity with data governance and security practices, including adherence to data privacy regulations
- Background in cloud-based data platforms like Azure (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud
- Skills in problem-solving and analytical thinking, with the capability to resolve data-related issues and identify optimization opportunities
- Skills in communication and collaboration, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
