We seek an adept and seasoned developer proficient in crafting and executing solutions through the utilization of Spring Boot and Microservices. The preferred candidate will possess a robust comprehension of Amazon Web Services and Kafka. This role presents a thrilling chance to engage in a project that encompasses the review, testing, and debugging of software deliverables. As a pivotal team member, you'll facilitate product releases, ensuring the security and currency of applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement solutions employing the Spring Boot framework and Microservices architecture pattern
- Engage collaboratively with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and deliver innovative features
- Craft code that is not only clean and efficient but also highly maintainable and well-documented
- Guarantee the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and rectify bottlenecks, addressing bugs as they arise
- Contribute to code quality, organizational efficiency, and the automation of processes
- Actively participate in code reviews, upholding quality standards and adherence to established norms
- Collaborate closely with the DevOps team, ensuring accurate deployment and monitoring of applications
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies within the realm of software development
- Serve as a mentor and guide to less experienced team members, aiding in their skill enhancement and career growth
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions with Java Spring Boot, demonstrating the ability to elucidate technical intricacies across diverse implementations
- Exhibit expertise in AWS, specifically AWS SQS
- Demonstrate a robust understanding of Microservices architecture for the creation of scalable applications
- Showcase experience in leveraging Apache Kafka for the establishment of real-time data streaming pipelines
- Possess a solid grasp of RESTful web services and API design principles
- Have hands-on experience with both relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle RDBMS
- Exhibit familiarity with Git for version control, integration, and deployment purposes
- Showcase knowledge of Agile development methodologies and the practices associated with DevOps
- Display excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English, reaching an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra
- Knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
