We are seeking a Senior Content Designer to join our remote team.

As a blend of systems thinker, storyteller, and UX writer, you will create clear, helpful, and human product-content experiences. Reporting to a Director of User Experience Design, you will drive content strategy and design for transactional product communications, including push, SMS, email, CRM, and in-product messaging. You will utilize human-centered design methods to craft content solutions that address real customer challenges and business goals, ensuring a clear and compelling voice and tone across product areas and multi-channel communications.

Responsibilities
  • Drive content strategy and approach for transactional product communications
  • Utilize human-centered design methods to design content solutions addressing customer challenges and business goals
  • Ensure a clear and compelling voice and tone across product areas and multi-channel communications
  • Use scalable frameworks to tackle structural problems with product content
  • Design content solutions to improve systems, overcome technical constraints, and reduce content debt
  • Partner across teams to improve accessibility, inclusion, readability, and translatability of product content
  • Use both qualitative and quantitative insights and business analytics to drive content insights and solutions
  • Partner across teams to improve the accessibility, inclusion, readability, and translatability of product content
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in UX Content Design, Human-Centered Design, Content Audits and Analysis, Information Architecture, and Storytelling (not a Brand or Marketing role)
  • At least 3 years of professional experience as a UX content designer or content strategist, preferably in a digital product or app environment
  • A portfolio of work that demonstrates your skills
  • Applied understanding of human-centered design (HCD) practices and design thinking
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to communicate compelling rationale and narratives
  • Passion for travel and mission-driven work
  • A portfolio demonstrating expertise in content design
  • A thoughtful, empathetic, and inclusive approach to content design that meets every user where they are
  • Native-level US English fluency in UX writing for Web and/or native apps
