Senior Content Designer

We are looking for a remote Senior Content Designer to define and deliver end-to-end content strategy for product experiences. Your primary focus will be to apply human-centered design methods to conceptualize, write, test, and deliver in-product content. You will contribute scalable, reusable standards for content to the Design System, and build strong relationships with cross-domain content owners to ensure a cohesive product and brand experience. This role requires an advanced working expertise in Figma, including content-specific plug-ins such as Ditto, and advanced presentation and storytelling skills, including PPT creation.

Responsibilities
  • Define and deliver end-to-end content strategy for product experiences
  • Apply human-centered design methods to conceptualize, write, test, and deliver in-product content
  • Contribute scalable, reusable standards for content (mechanics, tone, style, accessibility) to the Design System
  • Build strong relationships with cross-domain content owners to ensure a cohesive product and brand experience
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, legal, localization, and content platform teams for seamless project completion
  • Contribute to the continuous refinement of the content strategy and design processes
Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Towering expertise in writing useful, accessible, and natural-sounding product UI content in American English
  • Ability to draw from a variety of content strategy/content design frameworks to address complicated human problems across screens and product areas
  • Advanced working expertise in Figma (including content-specific plug-ins such as Ditto)
  • Advanced presentation and storytelling skills (including PPT creation)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365
  • Baseline understanding of headless content management systems and GitHub
  • Working understanding of AI/ML for content design, including NLU development, designing for generative AI, and prompt engineering
  • Competent facilitation and workshopping skills
  • Relationship building and a 'one team' mindset
  • Growth mindset and first-principles thinking
  • B2+ English level proficiency
Nice to have
  • Experience in defining and documenting best practices for product content
  • Ability to conduct content audits, competitive evaluations, and heuristic assessments of product content usability/accessibility
  • Experience in facilitating workshops and defining content workflows and processes
