We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Content Designer, to join our remote team and work on a key project for our client in the service automation industry. You will be the key figure in designing and defining the experience strategy for the VA Self-Service & Help Center Experiences, using human-centered design methods to co-create and test solutions that address real customer challenges. Your focus will be on developing User Journeys and User Flows that highlight customer interactions throughout an end-to-end experience, providing wireframes for concept and prototyping to be used for user research, and detailed visual and UX design supporting tactical efforts. Additionally, you will influence the strategy for a project or product area by articulating a coherent UX vision based on clear, actionable problem/opportunity statements and explore diverse, novel perspectives and design directions by default, evaluating concepts using appropriate methods to determine the strongest.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and definition of the experience strategy
  • Use human-centered design methods to co-create and test solutions that address real customer challenges
  • Develop User Journeys and User Flows that highlight customer interactions throughout an end-to-end experience
  • Provide wireframes for concept and prototyping to be used for user research
  • Provide detailed visual and UX design supporting tactical efforts
  • Influence the strategy for a project or product area by articulating a coherent UX vision based on clear, actionable problem/opportunity statements
  • Explore diverse, novel perspectives and design directions by default, evaluating concepts using appropriate methods to determine the strongest
  • Confidently facilitate idea generation with stakeholders
  • Create clear and compelling materials and narratives explaining design rationale to team and stakeholders using customer, business, or competitive insights
  • Apply and adapt design and research processes to fit the needs of the project
  • Develop empathy and insights about customers based on data and insights from research and other customer data sources
  • Clearly communicate customer-centric goals when presenting work
  • Define the key goals across the design team and align with stakeholders and secondary team members
  • Evolve and crystalize the ideal state vision based on testing – convert it into a back casted roadmap
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a UX Designer, with a focus on Conversational Design and service automation
  • Expertise in Content Strategy & Design, Design Documentation, Prototyping, Visual Communication, and Wireframing
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality UX designs for complex projects and services
  • Strong experience in defining and delivering experience strategy
  • Solid understanding of human-centered design methods and customer experience success metrics
  • Advanced skills in creating sketches, wireframes, flows, design comps, and prototypes with minimal guidance
  • Experience in governance strategy, influencing strategy for a project or product area by articulating a coherent UX vision based on clear, actionable problem/opportunity statements
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, promoting effective collaboration and idea generation with stakeholders
  • Ability to apply and adapt design and research processes to fit the needs of the project
  • Strong analytical skills, enabling effective problem-solving and decision-making in complex environments
  • Upper-Intermediate English language proficiency, allowing for effective written and spoken collaboration and active participation in meetings and discussions with the team and stakeholders
Nice to have
  • Experience in service automation industry will be an advantage
  • Familiarity with NLU, ML/AI-driven experiences, and the platform (self-service console) that powers these
  • Experience in Angular, developing dynamic and responsive web applications
