We are seeking a remote Senior Cloud Support Engineer with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a fast learning attitude.
This candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in Application Support and a strong background in Networking, Linux/Unix, and SQL (at least basic level).
Knowledge of Python is also required.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support over e-mail, chat, and phone as part of a global 24x7-support organization
- Handle escalations from customers and co-work with engineers across technical and product domains to resolve complex cross-domain issues
- Consult with senior engineers and subject matter experts to accelerate problem resolution
- Produce support documents, perform knowledge sharing and training
- Keep technical skills up to date with the latest cloud technologies
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Application Support
- Networking skills (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, related troubleshooting tools)
- Linux/Unix background (usage of lsof & Netstat to check open ports & running processes)
- Attention to detail, fast learner & excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of SQL and Python
- B2+ English level
Nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with Oracle RDBMS and Splunk
