We are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our remote team and provide support for research and development (R&D) activities.

The focus is on ensuring the security and integrity of the customer's cloud infrastructure. As a Threat Modeler, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating potential security threats to our cloud-based infrastructure. Your expertise in security development will be crucial in developing and implementing effective security measures.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and analyze cloud security risks and vulnerabilities
  • Develop and implement threat models to identify potential security threats
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure secure coding practices and secure application development
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to create secure cloud infrastructure designs
  • Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Provide guidance and recommendations for improving security protocols and processes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies
  • Participate in employer branding events such as Tech Talks, job fairs, conferences, etc.
  • Work closely with a mentor to enhance skills, adapt to the company's recruitment processes, and meet recruitment targets
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud security best practices and security development methods
  • Proven experience in threat modeling and assessing potential security risks
  • Strong experience in application security and secure coding practices
  • Developer experience, with the ability to understand and collaborate with development teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with architects and engineers to create secure cloud infrastructure designs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency
Nice to have
  • Experience in designing and implementing secure cloud-based solutions
  • Experience in security testing and penetration testing
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices
