Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Our customer is one of the top 3 most valuable U.S. financial technology companies, and we are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and help us secure the Cloud. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our customer's cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure cloud architecture solutions
  • Implement and manage security tools and services in the cloud environment, such as AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, and Splunk
  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate security tasks and processes
  • Identify and address security vulnerabilities in cloud infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations, such as PCI DSS and HIPAA
  • Conduct security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure
  • Provide guidance and support to development and operations teams on security best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud security
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on cloud security
  • Experience in Amazon AWS Security, including Identity & Compliance, Security Groups, Network ACLs, and AWS WAF
  • Knowledge of Azure Security and experience in security architecture design and implementation
  • Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and their application to automate security tasks
  • Experience in identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities in cloud infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of security best practices for cloud infrastructure, including firewalls, encryption, and access control
  • Experience in implementing and managing security tools such as AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, and Splunk
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address security issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at an Upper-Intermediate level
Nice to have
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerization security
  • Certification in cloud security, such as AWS Certified Security Specialty or Azure Security Engineer Associate
  • Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform or IBM Cloud
