We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Security Engineer to join our remote team and help us ensure the security of our cloud infrastructure. Customer is a leading company in the consumer finance marketplace specializing in Home Improvement, we are committed to providing our customer with the highest level of security and protection for their personal and financial information. As a Senior DevOps Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing security solutions for our Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud environments.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement security solutions for our Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud environments
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Conduct security assessments and audits of our cloud infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats
  • Implement security automation and DevSecOps practices to streamline security processes and improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are met throughout the SDLC
  • Provide guidance and support to development teams on secure coding practices and security best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies and make recommendations for improvements to our security posture
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in DevOps and Security, with a focus on cloud security
  • Expertise in Amazon AWS Security, including Identity & Compliance
  • Strong understanding of Security Architecture and Security Vulnerabilities
  • Proficiency in Scripting Languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience in designing and implementing cloud security solutions for Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure
  • Knowledge of Azure Security and Identity & Compliance
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience in implementing security automation and DevSecOps practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at an Upper-Intermediate level
Nice to have
  • Experience with other cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform
  • Certification in cloud security or related fields
  • Familiarity with network security and firewalls
