We are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Support Engineer to join our high-powered team.

As a Senior Cloud Platform Support Engineer, you will be part of a dedicated team providing 24/7 support for customer platforms in public clouds. You will play a key role in managing cloud operations, troubleshooting systems, and ensuring high availability for our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Event, Incident, Problem and Change Management processes
  • Support customer environments in public clouds (~1000 hosts), consult customers on technical aspects of installation, sizing, scaling, availability, etc.
  • Collaborate with technical and management personnel all over the world, participate in major incident handling (bridge) calls
  • Provide system troubleshooting and problem-solving for applications
  • Automate daily routines through scripting languages
  • Build Infrastructure as Code and automate configuration management
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and resolve identified gaps
  • Maintain a knowledge base of supported tools and team processes
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer or Systems Administrator on Linux and Windows platforms
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and PowerShell
  • Cloud experience in AWS (VPC, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, Route53, ACM, IAM, CloudWatch, Config)
  • Solid theoretical knowledge of computer networks including OSI model and TCP/IP stack
  • Experience in maintaining web/app middleware for Java applications
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across networks, systems, and applications
  • General knowledge for WAF, DDoS and Penetration test tools
  • Experience with systems and applications performance tuning
  • Experience with Git, Bitbucket
  • Ability to work both individually and within a team
  • Good multi-tasking skills
  • Strong communication skills in English, at or above a B2 proficiency level
Nice to have
  • Cloud experience in Azure
  • Experience in writing scripts/templates/playbooks for automating cloud infrastructure, configuration management and application deployments (e.g., AWS CloudFormation, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform)
  • Knowledge of cloud practices and patterns (Load Balancing, Auto-Scaling, Monitoring, Zero Downtime, Security)
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles and ITIL best practices
  • Experience with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
