We are actively seeking an experienced Senior Developer well-versed in the domains of Java and AWS, ready to join our dynamic remote team and play a pivotal role in shaping our product's excellence.
As a Product Engineer, you will contribute significantly to the advancement and refinement of our product, demonstrating a proactive approach and taking ownership in overcoming challenges. Our team's central focus is on ensuring quality, and consistently delivering products that not only meet but exceed customer expectations. Your expertise in Java and AWS, coupled with a profound understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms, will be instrumental in elevating the overall quality of the product.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and elevate the quality of our product
- Collaborate with the team to implement novel features and functionality
- Sustain and enhance the existing codebase
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices
- Architect and implement a scalable microservice infrastructure
- Create and manage APIs and integrations with other services
- Guarantee continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Engage with stakeholders to comprehend and define project requirements
- Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Java development
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms, Clean Code, and System Design
- Show proficiency in AWS, encompassing Amazon EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda
- Familiarity with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL tools
- Demonstrate expertise in APIs and Integration
- Strong familiarity with Microservices and Spring
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Possess excellent English communication skills (Upper-Intermediate level)
- Show the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of tasks
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with messaging systems, such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
