We're actively seeking a seasoned Senior Developer well-versed in the domains of Java and AWS, and enthusiastic about becoming an integral member of our remote team.
As a Product Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing and refining our product, demonstrating a proactive approach, and taking ownership when addressing challenges. The team's primary focus is on quality, consistently delivering products that not only meet but exceed customer expectations. Your expertise in Java and AWS, coupled with a profound understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms, will be invaluable in shaping the excellence of our product.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and elevate the quality of our product
- Collaborate closely with the team to implement novel features and functionalities
- Maintain and enhance the existing codebase
- Participate actively in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices
- Architect and implement a scalable microservice infrastructure
- Create and maintain APIs, fostering integrations with other services
- Ensure the seamless execution of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Engage with stakeholders to comprehend and define project requirements
- Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in Java development
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms, Clean Code, and System Design
- Show expertise in AWS, encompassing Amazon EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda
- Have knowledge of Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Bring experience with SQL and NoSQL tools
- Exhibit proficiency in APIs and Integration
- Display a strong familiarity with Microservices and Spring
- Have experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Possess excellent English communication skills (Upper-Intermediate level)
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Showcase strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to take ownership of tasks
Nice to have
- Possess experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Demonstrate familiarity with messaging systems, such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
