We're actively seeking an accomplished Senior Developer with a profound understanding of Java and AWS, ready to join our dynamic remote team.
As a Product Engineer, you'll be a driving force in propelling our product forward, demonstrating a proactive approach and assuming responsibility for overcoming challenges. The team's focal point revolves around quality, consistently delivering products that not only meet but exceed customer expectations. Your expertise in Java and AWS, coupled with a profound grasp of Data Structures and Algorithms, will be instrumental in shaping the product's excellence.
Responsibilities
- Elevate and refine the quality of our product
- Collaborate closely with the team to implement novel features and functionalities
- Enhance and optimize the existing codebase
- Engage in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices
- Architect and implement a scalable microservice infrastructure
- Create and maintain APIs and integrate them seamlessly with other services
- Ensure the seamless operation of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to comprehend and define project requirements
- Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Possess a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Java development
- Demonstrate a profound understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms, Clean Code, and System Design
- Possess expertise in AWS, covering Amazon EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda
- Familiarity with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL tools
- Proven expertise in APIs and Integration
- Strong familiarity with Microservices and Spring
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Exceptional English communication skills (Upper-Intermediate level)
- Ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a proactive ownership mentality
Nice to have
- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with messaging systems, such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
