We are currently looking for a Senior Cloud Java Developer to join our remote team and work on our high-quality products. As a developer, you will be responsible for developing and improving our products, demonstrating ownership and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java applications, with a focus on delivering value to our customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions
- Lead the development of microservices, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and performant
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices, including Clean Code, Data Structures and Algorithms, and System Design Principles
- Work with the team to continuously improve development processes and tools, including CI/CD, code reviews, and automated testing
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers, helping to grow their skills and abilities
- Take ownership of technical issues and drive them to resolution, proactively identifying and mitigating risks
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, continually learning and growing as a developer
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Java development, preferably with experience in developing microservices
- Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms, Clean Code, and System Design Principles
- Expertise in developing applications using the Spring Framework
- Hands-on experience with AWS and NoSQL tools
- Experience with APIs and Integration, CI/CD, and other relevant software engineering tools and processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges
- Strong ownership mentality and ability to take initiative to drive results
- Experience with Requirement Elicitation and Big Picture View Mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an upper-intermediate level of English
