We are seeking a proactive Senior Cloud Java Developer to work remotely, improving and developing our products with a focus on quality. As a talented engineer, you'll have the opportunity to demonstrate ownership and take a proactive approach to problem-solving. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations. To excel in this role, you'll need to have a solid grasp of Java development, coupled with expertise in cloud-based technologies and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve our products, ensuring that they meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Take ownership of your work and proactively solve problems as they arise
  • Design high-quality, scalable software architecture that meets the needs of our customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elicit requirements and ensure that our products meet business needs
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, architecture diagrams, and user manuals
  • Ensure that our products are of the highest quality, with a strong focus on testing and code quality
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in software development, bringing new ideas and approaches to the team
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Java software development, including experience with Kotlin, Scala or Go languages
  • Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Experience with system design and software architecture, as well as microservices architecture
  • Expertise in AWS and cloud-based technologies, as well as SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
  • Demonstrated experience in CI/CD and DevOps practices
  • Experience with API integration
  • A track record of delivering clean, high-quality code
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to elicit requirements from stakeholders and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
