We're actively seeking an accomplished Senior Developer with a wealth of expertise in Java and AWS, ready to integrate seamlessly into our remote team.
As a Product Engineer, you'll be a driving force in propelling our product forward, demonstrating a proactive approach and a sense of ownership when confronting challenges. Our team's core focus is on quality, consistently delivering products that not only meet but exceed customer expectations. Your proficiency in Java and AWS, coupled with a profound understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms, will be pivotal in shaping the product's excellence.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and elevate the quality of our product
- Collaborate closely with the team to integrate novel features and functionalities
- Refine and augment the existing codebase
- Engage in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices
- Architect and establish a scalable microservices infrastructure
- Create and uphold APIs and connections with other services
- Guarantee continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Cooperate with stakeholders to comprehend and outline project requirements
- Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges
Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Java development
- In-depth expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms, Clean Code, and System Design
- Proficiency in AWS, encompassing Amazon EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda
- Familiarity with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL tools
- Background in APIs and Integration
- Solid familiarity with Microservices and Spring
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Exceptional English communication skills (Upper-Intermediate level)
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Robust problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of tasks
Nice to have
- Background in Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
