Senior Cloud Java Developer

We are actively searching for a remote Senior Java Developer with expertise in AWS to become a part of our team and provide advanced technology solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with other developers, product owners, and technical staff to ensure that the software is delivered on time and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Designing, developing and testing high-quality software solutions using Java and other relevant technologies
  • Collaborating with other developers, product owners, and technical staff to ensure that software is delivered on time and to high standards
  • Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code that is easy to maintain and extend
  • Ensuring that software is robust, scalable, and meets the needs of our clients
  • Working with product owners to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs
  • Participating in code reviews and contributing to the development of best practices
  • Keeping up to date with new technologies and industry trends
  • Mentoring and coaching junior team members to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Participating in Agile development processes and ceremonies
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in Java development
  • Expertise in Java 8 and Core Java development
  • Experience in developing REST and SOAP web services using Spring
  • Proficiency in Spring Boot for building scalable and high-performance applications
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS Simple Queue Service (SQS)
  • Experience with SQL databases for designing and managing database schema, including procedures, triggers, and views
  • Expertise in Microservices architecture for designing and building scalable applications
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience with AWS Lambda and AWS Elastic Beanstalk
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies
