We are seeking a results-driven Senior Cloud Engineering Manager to lead large-scale cloud transformation initiatives, manage high-performing teams, and provide strategic guidance to both clients and internal stakeholders.
This role demands a deep technical background in cloud platforms, advanced leadership skills, and the ability to deliver complex multi-cloud solutions while driving innovation across organizational practices and strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead client engagements, oversee project delivery, and ensure alignment with strategic goals
- Shape proposals, manage RFIs/RFPs, and provide pre-sales support across multiple accounts
- Drive innovation by introducing emerging technologies, accelerators, and industry best practices
- Design and implement organizational structures to ensure succession planning and sustainable growth
- Develop and mentor future leaders, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, performance, recognition, and retention
- Manage large multi-disciplinary teams of 50+ FTE, ensuring timely, quality delivery within budget
- Build strategies, develop technology roadmaps, and advise on large-scale client transformation programs
- Represent the organization at conferences and professional events, articulating technical concepts effectively
- Apply advanced problem-solving techniques to handle delivery challenges or client conflict resolution scenarios
- Ensure execution of cloud maturity assessments and alignment with Well-Architected Framework principles
Requirements
- Expertise in one or more major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP); multi-cloud experience is preferred
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools, CI/CD platforms, and containerization/orchestration solutions like Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of observability solutions, SRE practices, and Platform Engineering principles
- Understanding of system architecture and Well-Architected Framework application
- Advanced knowledge of cloud security, IAM, compliance, and data protection practices
- Proven leadership in managing teams of 20–50 FTE, encompassing staffing, mentoring, and succession planning
- Experience in pre-sales processes, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and documentation
- Strong delivery management and project coordination skills in large, complex programs
- Financial awareness and basic understanding of project-level financial processes
- English proficiency at B2+ level or higher
