Senior Cloud Engineer (with AWS)

We are in search of a Senior Cloud Engineer specializing in AWS to enhance our remote workforce. This role is tailored for a professional adept at managing and scaling cloud infrastructures using AWS technologies. You will be pivotal in optimizing our cloud architecture to support advanced applications and services. Responsibilities
  • Architect and implement scalable AWS cloud solutions
  • Optimize and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker
  • Automate cloud deployments and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform
  • Develop scripts in Ruby, Python, or Bash to automate tasks and improve system efficiency
  • Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in cloud environments
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operations
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead technical teams in cloud-based projects
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate cloud solutions with business processes
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies in cloud computing
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer
  • Proficiency in managing AWS services, with a strong focus on container services like ECS and EKS
  • Strong scripting skills in Ruby, Python, or Bash for task automation and system management
  • Experience with Helm for package management in Kubernetes environments
  • In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker for effective container orchestration
  • Skilled in using Terraform for infrastructure automation and management
  • Excellent English communication skills, capable of engaging effectively in a professional setting
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with advanced cloud security implementations and protocols
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments, including platforms like Azure or Google Cloud
  • Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or other relevant technologies
