We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer (GCP) to join our remote team.
You will work on the Cloud Developer Platform and Interfaces that enable streamlined application and service development on top of our Cloud Infrastructure. As a customer-centric engineering organization, you’ll work closely with our customers, ensuring fast turnaround of feature requests and bug fixes. You will be working on capabilities that will reduce engineering effort to provision, deploy, configure, update and repair activities during the lifecycle of an application, game or service running on our cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of capabilities that streamline application and service development on Cloud Infrastructure
- Reduce engineering effort in provisioning, deploying, configuring, updating, and repairing activities during the application lifecycle
- Work closely with customers to ensure fast turnaround of feature requests and bug fixes
- Implement 'you build it, you run it' practice for all capabilities offered by the organization
- Collaborate with multiple teams globally to evolve as a center of excellence for Cloud Infrastructure and Online Game Developer Experience
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role
- Experience in MySQL administration and troubleshooting in distributed systems
- Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform,
- Strong expertise in Terraform
- Experience in maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting instances in GCP with a focus on SRE practices and on-call duties
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in distributed systems
- B2+ English level proficiency
Nice to have
- Experience with Ansible, Git, and PHP
- AWS IAM, and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service knowledge
