We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS) to join our remote team. Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud-based architectures
- Manage AWS resources and ensure their optimal deployment
- Automate cloud operations and processes to increase efficiency
- Monitor cloud environments to ensure security and compliance
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions
- Lead the migration of legacy systems to AWS
- Optimize costs and performance of cloud services
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct regular tests
- Provide technical leadership and guidance in cloud technologies
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer
- Proficiency in managing containerized applications using AWS ECS and EKS
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Ruby, Python, or Bash
- Experience with Helm for managing Kubernetes applications
- In-depth understanding of Kubernetes for orchestrating containers
- Expertise in Docker for developing, shipping, and running applications
- Skilled in using Terraform for infrastructure as code deployments
- High proficiency in English, capable of effective communication in professional settings
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud security practices and tools
- Knowledge of serverless architectures
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodologies
