Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS)

We are in search of a Senior Cloud Engineer with a specialization in AWS to enhance our remote workforce. This role is tailored for a strategic thinker who is adept in cloud solutions and eager to lead the deployment of scalable cloud infrastructures. You will be instrumental in driving the cloud initiatives of our organization, ensuring high performance and reliability of our AWS environments. With your expertise, you will shape the future of our cloud operations, optimizing them to meet the evolving needs of our dynamic business landscape.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable AWS cloud infrastructures
  • Manage and optimize AWS services including EC2, S3, and RDS
  • Utilize Docker for containerization and orchestrate with Kubernetes
  • Automate cloud deployments and infrastructure management using Terraform
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated code deployment
  • Ensure compliance with best practices in cloud security
  • Conduct performance tuning and monitoring of cloud systems
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate cloud solutions
  • Provide expert guidance and support in cloud architecture and technologies
  • Lead cloud disaster recovery planning and execution
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in AWS cloud engineering
  • Proficient in managing container services such as AWS ECS and EKS
  • Strong scripting skills in languages like Ruby, Python, or Bash
  • Experienced in using Helm for package management in Kubernetes environments
  • In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized applications
  • Skilled in Docker for developing and managing containers
  • Proficient in infrastructure automation using Terraform
  • Excellent English communication skills, capable of engaging effectively in a professional environment
Nice to have
  • Experience with advanced cloud analytics platforms
  • Familiarity with multi-cloud environments and services
  • Knowledge of latest cloud security protocols and certifications
