Join a global team developing and modernizing high-performance trading and client connectivity platforms used across EMEA, AMER, and APAC. You will work on backend services, APIs, integration components, and low-latency distributed systems while contributing to a major platform modernization initiative.
Please note that working from the client's office in Krakow 3 days per week is required.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support C++ applications and services
- Build and enhance trading connectivity, integration solutions, and APIs
- Deliver high-performance, scalable, and resilient systems
- Participate in architecture, release management, and production support
- Collaborate with global engineering and business teams
- Contribute to Agile and DevOps practices, including CI/CD
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on C++ development experience
- Strong knowledge of multithreading, STL, data structures, algorithms, templates, pointers, and socket programming
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
- Good understanding of SQL and database technologies
- Experience with FIX protocol, order management systems, and trading environments
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and modern DevOps practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with equity trading or investment banking systems
- Client connectivity platform experience
- Java development knowledge
- Experience providing production (L3) support
