A Senior C++ Developer is sought to join our remote team.
This role requires involvement in a project for a premier enterprise networking appliance company. The ideal candidate should possess practical experience with platform-side work, with a particular focus on networking security products such as SSL-VPN, NAC, WAF, or Firewall. As a C++ developer, your responsibilities will encompass Linux user-space expertise, network programming, and Enterprise Linux experience.
Responsibilities
- Creation and maintenance of C++ code for networking security products such as SSL-VPN, NAC, WAF, or Firewall
- Cooperation with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product Management to ensure the delivery of quality products
- Involvement in the complete software development lifecycle, encompassing requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and debugging
- Offering technical guidance and acting as a mentor for junior developers
- Participation in the development of software architecture and design
- Execution of initial security hardening roadmap tasks, including CentOS 7.9 to Oracle 9 migration, Kernel upgrade to Oracle Linux 5.14, and conversion of 32-bit code to 64-bit
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in C++ development, particularly within networking security products
- Proficiency in Linux user-space, network programming (DHCP, TCP/IP, AAA, RADIUS, LDAP, SNMP, 802.1X, IPSec), and Enterprise Linux
- Familiarity with CentOS 7.9 to Oracle 9 migration and Kernel upgrades to Oracle Linux 5.14
- Capability to convert 32-bit code into 64-bit and modernize the compiler used for compilation application stack
- Comprehensive knowledge of Linux Bootloader experience and SE Linux
- Experience in securing Factory Reset Partition to prevent tampering and in managing keys and securing with TPM Chip
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both spoken and written English, for effective team communication

- Proficiency in C programming, Python, and Perl
- Expertise in Linux Kernel/Linux OS Internals and SE Linux
