Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a remote Senior Business Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, defining and documenting requirements as stories/epics, and prioritizing the backlog with the product owner. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be the principal conduit for managing requirements between the business and the software development team throughout a project. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products are aligned with the needs of our customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elicit and document business requirements
  • Facilitate workshops with the Scrum team to align business and technical requirements
  • Analyze, document, and validate the needs of business stakeholders
  • Manage requirements between the business and software development team throughout a project
  • Translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Continuously analyze and prioritize the backlog with the product owner
  • Ensure that the development team is aware of all business requirements and deliverables
  • Ensure that all stakeholders have a clear understanding of project deliverables and timelines
  • Provide regular progress reports to executive management and other stakeholders
  • Work with the Scrum team to achieve sprint goals
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst in a technology-focused organization
  • Adept at facilitating Agile methodology and Scrum principles
  • Expertise in requirements analysis and gathering from business users and subject matter experts
  • Experience in writing user stories & acceptance criteria and prioritizing the backlog
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and align business needs with technical requirements
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical resources
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to take strategic direction from executive management
  • Mastery of English (B2+ level) for clear and effective communication with team and stakeholders
Nice to have
  • Proficiency in JIRA for Agile project management
  • Certification in Business Analysis, Agile, or Scrum
