We are seeking a remote Senior Business Analyst with advanced SQL skills to join our team. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of complex data solutions to support our financial services initiatives. You'll be responsible for documenting functionality, data flows, and writing SQL queries to extract data from our systems. As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll bring your expertise in JIRA and Agile development methodology to lead project planning and execution, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery. Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of complex data solutions to support financial services initiatives
  • Create and run SQL queries to extract data from our systems to support data-driven decision-making
  • Document functionality and data flows to support project planning and execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure timely and successful delivery
  • Lead project planning and execution using JIRA and Agile development methodology
  • Participate in daily Scrum meetings to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including senior management
  • Identify and resolve project issues and risks, escalating as needed to ensure timely resolution
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure data solutions are optimized for performance and scalability
  • Provide training and support to business stakeholders on new data solutions
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis
  • Expertise in SQL to extract data from complex systems
  • Experience documenting functionality and data flows to support data-driven decision-making
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Agile development methodology to lead project planning and execution
  • Familiarity with Scrum methodology and being an active participant in Scrum processes
  • Mastery of English (B2+ level) for effective communication with team and stakeholders
Nice to have
  • Experience with indices, portfolios, and ETFs
  • Experience with running API requests
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Certification in Business Analysis, such as CBAP or CCBA
