We are seeking an experienced remote Senior Business Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with clients and Business Unit Product Managers to understand product goals and vision. You will prioritize and plan software development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. This role requires a self-starter with excellent communication skills who can translate business needs into technical terms. You will be a vital member of our team, collaborating with designers and developers to produce high-quality software that meets business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients and Business Unit Product Managers to understand product vision and goals
- Define and prioritize product features to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Collaborate with designers and developers to plan and deliver software development projects on time and within budget
- Lead the development of the minimum viable product (MVP)
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across a variety of roles and levels in the organization, including developers, designers, and stakeholders
- Ensure requirements are accurately documented and maintained throughout the project lifecycle
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure project milestones are met
- Conduct regular status meetings to update stakeholders on project progress
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and escalate issues as necessary
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Business Analysts on the team
Requirements
- Over 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with proven track record of success
- Experience in defining and prioritizing product features to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Proven experience in working with Agile development teams, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
- Excellent communication skills to translate business needs into technical terms, and to influence decision-making across a variety of roles and levels in the organization
- Experience with Project Management tools and techniques, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Expertise in Requirements Lifecycle Management, including elicitation, analysis, and documentation of requirements
- Ability to lead the development of the minimum viable product (MVP) to budget and timelines
- Fluency in English (Upper-Intermediate level)
Nice to have
- Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g. CBAP, CCBA)
